AJ Royal Pendant designed by the famous Danish designer Arne Jacobsen in 1957. The lamp was a part of the design project by Jacobsen for the opening of the SAS Royal hotel in Copenhagen. The Egg chair, AJ desk lamp and AJ cutlery were also used in this project. This lamp is the larger version of 50cm, the smaller version has got a diameter of 37cm. It has got a dark (greyish) brown colour. On the inside of the big shade are 3 light bulbs, in the smaller shade on the inside is another light bulb. The lamp is especially suitable for above a dinner table. This 50s classic is still in production, but only in a white version. In an excellent condition, only minor user marks.
